Household into Work
Is an innovative programme that runs across the Liverpool City Region, supporting those who, because of their circumstances, have difficulty finding and sustaining employment.

Riverside Floating Support Service
Provides support for adults over the age of 16, who are living in South Liverpool and are at risk of becoming homeless. Support includes assistance with: budgeting, debt management , filling forms, accessing benefits, finding accommodation, building confidence etc.

The Commy
Speke Community Centre (The Commy), is a charity which challenges isolation by offering a range of recreational activities including lunch clubs, arts and crafts, concerts and excursions. Speke Community Centre promotes cohesion especially amongst our older residents or people facing barriers to their wellbeing. Whilst the Registered Office is at STEC most activities are delivered in Parklands and social club venues in Speke.

Amanda’s Day Service
offers support to adults with disabilities and additional needs. This service provides a wide range of activities in a calm, friendly environment to enhance the wellbeing of its users. These activities include: practising mindfulness, music and movement, chair based exercises, alternative therapies.

is an acclaimed INGYO (International Non Governmental Youth Organisation) with a network of partner organisations in more than 40 countries currently in Europe, South America, Africa, the Caribbean, and around the Mediterranean. This charity works with children, young people and women’s groups from communities in areas of poverty and social exclusion.

Maria Eagle MP
Is the Member of Parliament (MP) for the Garston and Halewood Constituency. Maria has served these communities since 1997. As MP, Maria holds four monthly surgeries in Belle Vale Millenium Centre, Halewood, Garston Hospital and Speke. The Speke surgery is held at STEC between 10AM and 12PM on the first Saturday of each month (except if that falls on the first day of the month).

Liverpool Street Scene Limited
has been established as a not for profit organisation in March 2016 to deliver a number of essential services across the city of Liverpool which include: refuse & recycling, highways and street cleansing and grounds maintenance.

Councillor’s Surgeries
Speke Garston ward. (1 of 30 wards which comprise Liverpool City Council) has three City Councillors. namely Councillor Tom Cardwell, Councilor Doreen Knight and Lord Mayor of Liverpool Councillor Mary Rasmussen. Although no face to face activities have yet resumed, STEC has provided meeting rooms for surgeries in which local residents may bring problems for resolution.

Talent Match Merseyside Youth Association
Works with young people between the ages of 15 and 29 in Liverpool, who have been out of work, training or education for 12 months. Through a range of creative and innovative activities, individuals are given an opportunity to discover skills and employment opportunities, improve their life chances and create their futures.

The Orchard
Is an independent food bank which works on a self-referral basis in the Speke-Garston area. Want to donate? We rely on food donations from people and businesses in the local community to help out as many people as possible, for as long as possible.

A local initiative which offers a non-money economy to the community. The Original Swap Shop is a place for all individuals to donate, exchange or receive items such as: unwanted or outgrown clothing/footwear, bedding, curtains etc, baby items.
